Episode Barcelona: One Step Closer
I've notched things one step up on the sponsorship front today.

Verbal agreement has finally been given to fund 50% of my annual training costs in Spain, on condition that I approach and procure another another funding body to match this.  50%!  I can't say how relieved I am that things seem to be finally moving--and while I know most of you will be urging me to ink this in black and white, for now, I'm just glad to take a breather.  It's been an incredibly trying five months.

But things are moving forward.  I deeply believe they are.

After much careful research and consideration, I have decided to approach Trailblazer Foundation to be a part of my sponsorship team.  Their goals and missions encapsulate much of what I want to do with tennis, and from a larger perspective, with my life in true service to God and my country.   I'm definitely excited just for the opportunity to write in!

I'm aiming to get my stuff to them by Monday--so the rest of the weekend's just going to be nothing but working on my sponsorship package.  Cafes, libraries, massive alone time.  Zoning out for now--and till then, you guys can read up more about Trailblazers at http://www.trailblazerfoundation.org/aboutus.htm
